Establish Your Biometric Baseline

The Pre-emptive De-escalator works best when it knows your personal baseline. Measure your resting heart rate and HRV over 3-7 days for accurate stress detection.

Why Establish a Baseline?

Your baseline metrics help the Pre-emptive De-escalator detect when you're entering a stress state. Without a baseline, the system uses generic defaults that may not reflect your personal physiology.

For best results, measure your resting heart rate and HRV at the same time each day (e.g., first thing in the morning) over 3-7 days, then average the results.

Resting Heart Rate

Measure when you wake up, before getting out of bed. Typical range: 60-100 bpm.

Heart Rate Variability (HRV)

Measure using a wearable device or HRV app. Typical range: 30-100 ms.
